“John has created something truly special with his Guitar School website.
If you’re just a guitar player wannabe, or an advanced working musician, there are mountains of stuff here to be mined for just about all skill levels.
If you own a guitar (or two), you have to check out his online Guitar School. It’s like having your own instructor and accompanist in your home, and John is one of the best.
You will find yourself spending hours there, and you WILL become a better player. I have!!”

Hi John
Just downloaded the backing tracks for DJOBI DJOBA by the GipsyKings. Great lesson. Always wanted to play this style of guitar music.
I like your approach to teaching. This lesson is broken down into stages, not too difficult for the average person like me to understand and withpractice, should be able to play and sound great with this song. (especially over the backing track)
Now with the added bonus of backing tracks, and when the wife startscomplaining about having to hear hours of guitar practice in the house, Ican now remove myself to my own space, the garage, and play.
Thanks again John. I appreciate the customer service that you give.

“Anyone working with today’s high school guitar students knows the enthusiasm they bring to the instrument, as well as how many players they’ve seen via Youtube and the like. To bring a fresh perspective to them might seem daunting, but John did it for my students.
Not only can John dazzle them with his technique and musicianship, but he can bring the music right to their level through practicing with them during his workshops.
His approach is personable, and he is able to communicate his ideas through his
exemplary playing as well as his effective Q&A with the students. By the
time he is finished, my students are asking me if we can start a ‘World
Music’ unit next – John’s inspiration is evident.”
