The cool sound of the trumpet combined with nuevo flamenco guitar and Latin percussion rhythms breathes new energy into jazz standards and transforms Top 40 songs into recognizable jazz tunes.
Their vast repertoire includes everything from George Gershwin’s 1930 classic Summertime to the 80’s retro favourite Human Nature by Michael Jackson to Camila Cabello’s hit Havana. Latin Lounge features Al Guraliuk on trumpet and flugelhorn with guitarist John Gilliat and Paul Bray on percussion. The band delivers a polished performance that enhances the ambiance without overwhelming conversation.
Latin Lounge is the perfect band for patio and outdoor performances. The trio has performed popup sidewalk concerts for the Kerrisdale, Granville, Mount Pleasant, Gastown and Cambie Village BIAs. Latin Lounge has also created a warm atmosphere at many other venues such as Chaberton Estate Winery, Pacific Center Mall and Raymond James Ltd.
